The 2014 Second Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao–Taiwan Magic Festival ran from 30 August to 1 September at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou. It was presented by the Art Bureau of the Ministry of Culture, the Guangdong Department of Culture and the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and organised by the Guangdong Acrobats Association. The large-scale narrative illusion Magic Radiance · Dream Shadows, performed by the Magic Radiance duo of Happy Valley Shenzhen, took the festival’s Gold award.
More than seventy performers from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan entered. Representing Shenzhen and Happy Valley Shenzhen were Ruxianguli, Mirizi Aihemaiti Shabier, Zulihumaier Wubuli, Li Jia and Zheng Zhiqiang. Of the twelve acts that reached the final, theirs took the only Gold awarded.
